Women are amused by it for the same reason ("Oh, boy -- a new toy!"). We're talking about remote sex using unusual toys. According to Professor Chris Hables Gray of the University of Great Falls, teledildonics are "dildos and other sexual interfaces controlled from a distance, through the Net or some other way." Gray is a cyborgologist who is writing A Cyborg Bill of Rights, among other cyborg-related literature.
